Corporate/Business and University Self-Defence Courses

Meiji Martial Arts provides self-defence courses specifically aimed at the corporate/business and university sectors, held at either of our central London Dojos.

Option 1: Self-Defence Taster Session
Size: Minimum 10 people
Duration: 2 hours
Award: Certificate of Achievement

Option 2: Introduction to Self-defence (Short Course)
Size: Minimum 10 people
Duration: 1 hour per week for 6 weeks
Award: Certificate of Achievement

The sessions explore:

  • Situational awareness and how self-defence starts when you leave the home, for example: self-defence on public transport / in a bar/ walking the dog/ walking from the station/bus stop etc.
  • Dealing with intimidation or bullying.
  • How to deal with an assault on the ground.
  • Understanding your environment and how self-defence is an everyday skill.
