Our Chief Instructor is Master Mark Roberts – please see here for his full bio. Master Mark has worked with and trained a number of the World’s elite Military Special Forces both here and abroad. He remains an expert in his field and is regarded as one of the UK’s leading self defence Instructors.

The course is both practical in its application but also highly motivational for the participants. It won’t turn students into Ninjas in two hours but it will provide realistic skills on what do to in almost any confrontational situation. Many of our clients have found it a great team building exercise to bring internal departments together, have fun and embolden individuals by strengthening their mental resilience and wellbeing. As a result, it makes a fantastic contribution towards your company’s Environmental, Social and Governance Policy too.

Option 1: Self-Defence Taster Session
Size: Minimum 10 people
Duration: 2 hours
Award: Certificate of Achievement

Option 2: Introduction to Self-defence (Short Course)
Size: Minimum 10 people
Duration: 1 hour per week for 6 weeks
Award: Certificate of Achievement

The sessions explore:

  • Situational awareness and how self-defence starts when you leave the home, for example: self-defence on public transport / in a bar / walking the dog / walking from the station/bus stop etc.
  • Dealing with intimidation or bullying.
  • How to deal with an assault on the ground.
  • Understanding your environment and how self-defence is an everyday skill.
