About Kids Jiu-Jitsu
Ground-based martial art emphasising technique over strength. Children will learn how to control their partner's movement when on the ground. Perfect for building problem-solving skills, patience, and confidence through gentle grappling play. Our kids Jiu Jitsu classes teach martial arts techniques through games and drills. Kids improve fitness, coordination, and focus while learning self-defence basics. A belt grading system is used to track progress and keep children motivated to continue training for years to come.

Head Coach Abel Martinez
3rd Degree Black Belt — Meiji Jiu-Jitsu Lead
Abel Martinez is a national and international Master Instructor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — the 'gentle art'. With over 20 years instructing and experience in multiple martial arts including kickboxing and Shotokan Karate, Abel is a BJJ British Champion and a 3rd degree black belt.

Coach Marcia (Moli) De Oliveira Ramos
Black Belt 2nd Dan — Judo & Jiu-Jitsu
Born in Brazil, Moli started Judo at 14 and competed in regional tournaments before earning her Black Belt 2nd Dan. Since moving to London in 2009 she has been teaching Judo across the city and is a specialist in working with neurodivergent children.
